COVID-19 travel checks in Egypt
International tourism and commercial flights have resumed in Egypt since 1st July, 2020. Nevertheless, all foreign travelers need to produce a negative RT-PCR test document while arriving at the airport. The test has to be taken in not more than 72 hours before departure of the flight.
- People traveling from Thailand, China, Japan, South America, North America, London Heathrow, Canada, Frankfurt and Paris should get their PCR test conducted within 96 hours before flight departure.
- The RT-PCR medical certificate should be stamped and issued by a reputable laboratory and the type of sample extracted from the swab should be mentioned in English or Arabic.
- Passengers arriving will have to allow getting their temperatures monitored at the airport.
- Filling out a Health Declaration is a mandate for everyone.
